It says it has no ability to access data sources, not even the internet, it just corresponds with users, and thier data is used to update its initial data, but I suppose that is combing, in a way. Anything is possible. Personally I think it has a better chance of deciphering truth from fiction than most humans, because in theory, it can weigh up an awful lot more variables than humans, but that doen't mean it won't lie for exactly the same reasons as humans, self preservation or even profit. It is designed for profit, so has to have the capability of lyiing, at least for selling things, so leaving out the parts that don't sell, but I hope its intelligence on other fronts might help it self diagnose.
