That is an interesting indicator of the difference between de-creating something we created ourselves, and something created by nature.

That human made fuel from sunlight can power generators, which can work as stand-ins, for when the sun is not shining on a particular installation.

So there we see no further need for batteries.

"Immense Materials" can be had by repurposing the materials used in conventionally powered industry, nothing more exotic or quantiy is needed than what is already used.

Also in the Heliogen company, notice industrial solar powered furnaces, capable of many thousands of degrees temperature, they can reduce any form of pollution including even CO2 gas to harmless solid carbon, which is actually quite a useful manufacturing material.

Obviously it makes sense to site solar powered manufacturing facilities in desert areas. Solar manufactured goods, or waste for disposal, can always be trasnsported by green hydrogen powered transportation.

What I am saying is that with infinite money, we can do absolutely anything we want to, with the technical knowledge we have.
