It is such a shame things like this become patented, though I understand there will of course be a need to cover development outlays.

I can immediately see other applications based on this technology, which if I had development resources to pursue, would be inclined to do, but have neither resources for development, nor funds to cover licensing fees.

If I can see this, there must be thousands of others who can too.

Imagine how much better the world could be, if it was not driven by the urge to profit regardless of expense to others.
