It doesn't look anything like as bleak if you realise that the sun is the single source of energy, and that all problems are solved by using it correctly, just like all of nature does.

Imagine gas guzzling cars driving around doing the opposite of what they used to do to the atmosphere. Instead of polluting, outputing breathable air.
Sounds crazy right now if we don't know about things like Kardashev Engineering.
It is all about putting the vehicle we've driven at this point to near extinction, into reverse.
Of course it is fixable, we are not past the point of no return, it is plain to see when we understand how the chain of energy really works and I think it is very damaging to claim otherwise.
