I agree there appears to be way too much talking and planning going on, than implementation, thanks for posting.
It amazes me still very few are directly connecting energy with money.
When we consider that is actually being done by the technology of solar powered proof of work tokens (Bitcoin) , and that money-as-sunlight is being directly exchanged for conventional
money-as-debt, we might notice that stream of revenue is completely free of any burden on Earth resources, some of it can even be directed towards expansion of its own solar collection capability, thus it can freely even sustain its own growth, with no funding from conventional sources, and even suoply the constant funding needed for things like hydrogen production, there we might notice there is not even much need for batteries since solar can supply the power for all things, by creating hydrogen.
After all, isn’t that what trees do, supply the energy for all of nature, by collecting it from the sun, taking what it needs to grow and maintain itself, while converting the remainder it to various energy-rich nutrients, and distributing that to all of nature, free of charge?
With that not taken into account, all estimates of how possible and how quickly we can transition to "clean" are actually invalid, I think.
