It all starts to make sense when you see how it all fits together in a solar hydrogen ecology, which if you know where to look, is happening right in front of our eyes.
The thing causing the fracturing is the constant drive for profit, which was always necessary before we'd developed the technology capable of harnessing the energy from the sun, because profit is the mechanism used to extract energy from Earth.
But now we are faced with growing economic product creation from domestic and community solar, which adds to what we always considered was a more or less constant base of economic capital.
In short, we do not as yet monetise any of this growing economic capital, because the money representing it has to be issued for free, nothing asked in return, because the energy was donated to us with nothing asked in return by the sun.
Notice that the thermodynamic effect of using solar energy is the opposite of that which happens by use of extracted energy.
Instead of heating the planet, more use of solar does the opposite, so this is truly sustainable, whilst continued extraction is completely unsustainable.
Anyhow, failure to monetise solar product is the real physical reason behind inflation. The economists still do not seem to accept this, arguing less money has to be issued. But we have proof with numbers, as you can see from my link below.
So we will have to conclude massive UBI is necessary to monetise solar, sooner or later, nature insists.
You might see then the golden use case of proof of work currency, is its unique ability to monetise solar energy, with no damage to the planet, in fact, the more done by solar, the better.
Further, you might see the golden use case for Ai, it is the ideal global controller, capable of monitoring all solar energy received, whilst issuing the money needed to monetise it, to all people in such a way as to maximise the value of both the currency and all people enabled and enriched by it.
A further element in the solution system is hydrogen, use of this will become ubiquitous after the need for profit, and actually efficiency, are removed, or at least vastly reduced.
This will not only keep all vehicles necessary for transportation in the air, on land, and at sea, but will also motivate bringing back some of the previous Engineering icons like concorde and the space shuttle, by being available for anyone choosing to use, if they wish, and actually new vehicles developed from those, which were discontinued for profit driven reasons.
How it will affect social media, and the internet, is it will remove the need for secrecy, since there will be nothing to be gained from knowing "Secrets", so nothing to be gained from keeping them, or any reason to generate misinformation, actually what we will see is an explosion of truth, and a united internet which of course will benefit Ai, and us, no end.
I could go on, the list of things that will change for the better is endless.
