Isn't it time to quit the partisan wagon? Both sides have failed, who cares the details. Now everybody needs to look to the future, paying attention to what needs to be done to appease nature. I write a lot about that, it doesn't have a political home, it is a systems analysis, if it needed a title, maybe it is "Energyism". It was already demonstrated, when oil prices went negative, and the environment showed the only positive spike of recovery ever. You might be pleased to recall it was "The right", who happened to be in power, but could have been either right or left, they appear to have done it by accident. But it demonstrated that it is possible, to turn everything round in a way that makes everyone, at least the vast majority, very happy, and even fits perfectly with nature, truly physically sustainable, by working in the same way as every plant works.
They stopped it, those in power, for their own reasons, but there is no reason it could not be done again, and this time just left on.
Besides, since it became physically possible, only in the last ten years or so, now nature is insisting on it, just watch the inflation continue to devalue all money until it is zero, as long as we don't do it. "Kardashev money" describes how it works.
