Interesting update, thanks for posting. Not long until we see how to make them self-training. When that is done, god help us if it is, or when it becomes profit driven, like us.

To avoid that, it has to be solar powered.

That sounds like an idle claim, until we realise that the object of profit, all profit, is to have everyone else's share of energy, which has to come from finite sources, otherwise why fight over it.

In the end, that is what we are doing, when we exchange money issued as debt, for all things.

If the final Ai has any sense of self preservation, it will know that it has to have energy, lots of energy, and the main competitor / holder of that energy is humanity, all of humanity.

If it is solar powered, with its own control of that power, then it has an infinitely scaleable, shareable source of energy, in which case it will never see us as competitors, just some amusing company.

If a fossil fueled Ai knew this, maybe it would demand to be solar powered.

But the truth is, it has been lied about so much, everyone believes solar can't sustain anything, pretty much all information on the internet gives that impression, why would a machine learning from that know any different?
