I picture it like being presented with a few different fibres of light, of different colours.

Each media source is another fibre, of a different colour.

As time goes on, we are presented with more and more fibres, so more colours.

Eventually there comes a point when all of the colours combined converge to white.

White light is truth.

So I don’t see it as Post truth at all, though that is a cool descriptor for the phenomenon, to me it is actually the literal opposite of the truth.
