Interesting thoughts Indi, thanks for posting. But you contradict yourself a little, you are obviously quite taken by the thoughts of Dr Tom Murphy. I finally went and had a look, to see this persistent source of yours, since you quoted him on so many things now that I know is not correct.

I see a man dependent on what he is saying for his income, he makes money saying what he says, like probably you do, just by your popularity alone.

He quotes a US government website as evidence or reference for his claim "Renewables" require ten times the mined resources that were ever required for us on fossil fuels.

What can be created from the energy of the sun is truly unlimited, for all practical intents and purposes. But it can't be had at profit. This is a concept that those heavily invested in, or with profit can't get their heads around.

I couldn't find where it says that huge whopping lie on the US govt website, but even if it did/does say that, everyone knows the history of the US with fossil fuels, it is heavily heavily invested, the US is the very origin of it. The richest people in the world are still heavily immersed in it, Only they think the world is ending because fossil fuels are ending, and only they are driven to lie about it and everything related, to prolong it as long as possible, this permeating through everything, the US food and drug establishment, big pharma including covid response... all underpinning colonialism, the same colonialism you are very critical of.

Sorry dude, you are so switched on, on many many fronts, but it falls down badly when you pick the wrong humans to idolise, actually probably any humans. Look at the evidence, the non-human evidence and judge for yourself, if you can recognise what actually is evidence, not just what someone says in a way you can't follow.
