Interesting subject. I think it would be difficult to gather a tally of suffering vs happiness, as to be fair, we would have to be able to talk to the dead, most of whom probably suffered horribly and I guess they vastly outnumber the living. But still happiness and suffering are not mutually exclusive, we probably need to know how to be happy in a seemingly unfair world, just to survive it as long as we do. Personally I would have no problem with folk laughing at my funeral, if I had a choice, I would love if folk were motivated (Rather than being paid!), to be something like below, at my funeral, if that would somehow ever be something marked:
