Interesting story, which looks like mostly opinion, stated as fact.
I would guess similar arguments might have been used by the perpetrators, to justify genocide and holocausts in the past.
With respect, I think only a poisoned mentality, one completely removed from reality, can see any value in thinking positively, or perhaps trying to encourage or influence anyone else to think positively about destruction, killing, death, and war.
Isn’t that exactly what extremist religious clerics do?
Besides, the logic seems completely wrong to me.
We need to witness destruction to appreciate art? The opposite seems obvious to me. Art creates art. Destruction creates destruction.
If someone has bad things done to them, then they want to do more bad things in return.
A twisted torturer, detached from the agony of their victim might well view their torture as “Art”, but that would be the furthest thing from their mind, if the tables were turned, and they became the one being tortured.
As we’ve seen in reality, badness breeds more badness.
Terrorism breeds more terrorism.
I don’t mean to discourage you from airing your thoughts. As always, all things are valid for debate, this was just my view in response. Thanks for sharing.
