EVs can be a perfectly fine part of a fully sustainable community solar-hydrogen world, all they need to do is swap out the toxic batteries for hydrogen fuel cells. Then they can still be electrically rechargeable, but also hydrogen refuelable, giving them the convenience and range of fossil fueled vehicles.

With respect, if I had to guess what kind of folk those claiming all environmentalists are just in it for money, and that the whole thing is one big heist, like covid vaccines turned out to be, this article indicates to me, that you fit that description.

It isn't something that can be fixed at profit, that is why it is taking so long to make the tranition to clean energy, because people are still trying to milk every development for profit, that is what is dominating and killing all movement, and all developments. I guess you won't think this is relevant to you, but rest assured it will be, sooner or later, it is relevant to all of us, even the richest:
