Interesting opinion, thanks for posting.

To think our situation is less dire than it actually is, would be a mistake.

To think it isn’t fixable anyway would be an even bigger mistake.

Earth is literally on fire, for the first time in our known history.

Virtually all the energy we ever consumed as a species was dug from Earth, and sold to make profit.

All energy comes from the sun, for free.

So Earth is like a very slowly charged battery, trickle charged by sunlight over hundreds of millions of years.

Then in the 150 years you mention, we’ve discharged it to an extent where the trickle charging process is disrupted. Instead of recharging from the sun, its rays are now starting to burn the greenery which previously cleaned our atmosphere, as part of the recharging process.

There we should see the real Ponzi, the biggest Ponzi of all, the Grand Energy Ponzi (GEP)

If we had been using the energy of the sun to power our species, we would not be having this problem, as we would not be discharging Earth.

But every project to date which has been suggested to achieve that goal has been sunk by the forces that wish all things to be for profit, forever.

The first known project to attempt that was Nikolai Tesla’s free world energy and internet-like connectivity project. The sole funder was JP Morgan, who removed funding when it became clear profit was at threat.

That was over 120 years ago now.

Profit is only possible in exchange for things which are scarce, including energy extracted from Earth.

Whereas the energy of the sun, implemented at scale is not scarce, anyone could do it, given the technology, so it is infinitely scaleable, and it is free.

After implementation it would not be possible to scarcify, and as energy is the source of all wealth, we would no longer practice profit for anything, as there would be no need, effectively infinite wealth would be donated to all people, from the sun.

Infinity is a funny number. With infinite wealth, even the stingiest of people would not be able to avoid giving away infinite wealth to all others, if they had it.

, 00000001 percent of infinite wealth, divided amongst many billions of people, for example, is still infinite wealth for every single one.

How could people then be controlled, if their wealth could never be confiscated?

But instead we have a burning planet, which can only get exponentially worse now the “Ice has broken”

How do we convert sunlight directly to wealth?

Solar powered Bitcoin and other proof of work tokens.

Money-as-sunlight.

Why haven’t you seen this account before?

Because every media it might be communicated on is driven by profit.

So it tends to only be read in responses to the stories of others, more profitable, even if less valuable.

Still think nothing substantial can, or should be done?
