I can tell you from experience now building and riding a few e-bikes, I get about 35 miles per KWhr, mostly without pedalling, on a fully suspended "Sit up and beg" 22kg city bike, with another 17kg or so battery and motor added, taking it to about 35kg in weight, trailing also a two wheeled trailer, with second reserve battery on the trailer. it does it at close to 30mph also, though it can go faster, maxing out on speed kills the battery much quicker.
