Interesting article with some useful information, though mostly not relevant to folks outside U.S. (like me), but thanks for posting.

I think you probably made the right decision to withdraw, notwithstanding some other factors of uncertainty likely to arise:

• Autonomy will likely affect how people see ownership in the future, when maybe these cars will become effectively dial-up items, businesses like Uber might employ fleets of them, achieving economy of scale not available to individuals.
• Tesla is likely to switch manufacturing emphasis to the cheapest manufacturing facilities available to the largest potential customer base, which unfortunately is China. Thus import charges might affect price.
• Increasing general economic uncertainty.

I would say probably best to hang fire and watch that space, we live in interesting times!
