While I don’t doubt any of your info, this kind of story really needs links to show the sources of all of your information, otherwise we don’t know how much of it is your own analysis, and how much is from historical records.

Also, the sources of all of the images should be given so that we know where each of those came from too.

Given current events, analyses of the history of slavery and how it started, is key to addressing the problem now.

You highlighted a difference, which looks like a distinction between slavery practiced for labour, and slavery practiced for other reasons.

By our modern definition of economy, the freedom to act on greed is a human liberty, therefore we might classify folk working towards the social benefit of others for no profit in return as a form of slavery.

When we dig further down that rabbit-hole, we find further questions over concepts such as marriage, gender inequality etc.
