Indi, you might want to look at using your money to persuade your government and all poeple to encourage investment in solar, by issue of free funds for investment to local communities, or some other financial incentive to do so. By that, all of the energy and economic problems of Sri Lanka can be solved, as we can see from another part of Asia; Vietnam. They have a much nicer problem to deal with, that is too much solar for their grid to handle.

They don't seem to see that there is a quick technical solution to their issue of not being able to convert the excess energy to economic activity, but it involves making the electrical grid redundant, therefore handing over responsibility to all people to generate their own power. This is the way any country can be truly power independent, and the way we all need to go sooner or later, it seems to me. Those most desperately in need are in the best position to make the most radical changes.
