Indi thanks for your response. What I hear you saying is that you don't trust humans to do the right thing. At this moment right now I feel the same, all humans are potential agents, who could derail the process of moving to mathematically positive energy, for profit, often wihout realising it. All I can say is we can't allow our own personal experiences to cloud our view of what most people want. We all want peace, love, and happiness, only a few want chaos, death and destruction, it seems to me, but we hear them loudest, usually (You are an exception!). I think you will be really pleasantly surprised to see how much people change for the better, when the universal need for profit is removed, it is what pits us all against one another and Earth, for the energy we each need to survive.
The thing is, the folk who will need to change things "At the top", are those least likely to change. The challenge we have, is getting them to understand why and how things have to change, it seems to me. Notice language itself needs to be modified, "Renewable Energy", is a real water muddier (Am I allowed to say headfuck?) - it bundles energy for profit from Earth together with energy for free from the sun. It's like mixing pure hydrogen with fossil fuels, the latter poisons the whole bundle. Mathematically the two kinds of energy from Earth and from sun, don't mix, we will never sort the problem using terms like Renewable Energy which bundle good with bad. Also, attempting to apply arguments of thermodynamics to the system of energy and Earth, can't add any value, just confuses, because it can only be applied to a closed system, whilst the energy system of Earth and sun is open ended.
Let's be honest, who really understands thermodynamics anyway, notice this was used to push through the big bang theory, which is now being disproved by observations from JWST, nobody really knew enough about thermodynamics to disprove it, we all went along with the confusion, because it got science more funding.
Anyhow, I wish you all power to your elbow, you have a unique talent to convince folk of thngs, I know you will do the best you can with it.
