Indeed, the original Tesla knew all about it, and was working to deliver its power to us via his Wardenklyffe project, based on Tesla's belief that Earth is constantly positively charged by the rays of the sun, and much of that charge stays in the air, his scheme was to tap some of it off. The project was defunded, by his only funder, JP Morgan, because Tesla told him free energy would mean free money, and it looks like JP didn't like that very much. Tesla was literally cancelled, the banks saw him as that dangerous.

It's never been proven whether or not Tesla's scheme would have worked. Personally I think he would have delivered his promise if he'd been supported. That was probably one of the first ever technically beneficial projects ever cancelled because a money person didn't like it. It wasn't the last, it started a new fashion, of money controlling technical development, it seems to me, the number of technically beneficial products lost is huge, including now such things like Concorde, and the space Shuttle, but literally millions of other things never done because there was never any profit in it, and then there are nuclear power and nuclear weapons, which didn't have to happen, because there would have been no world wars, etc, etc, we could have been going to the stars by now with the original Tesla, and Einstein, and countless other geniuses lost in the unnecessary wars and famines.

I look forward to issue of money moving to Ai. That will fix things, I believe.
