Indeed Tesla was an anomaly, one that I too sometimes aspire to follow in the footsteps of, and an instance showing how money, and aggression, of a few lesser intelligent elites exercising power over humanity has taken precedence over science and learning that should have benefited all of humanity, to the point that we are now in grave danger of planetary collapse and extinction.

I have written more than once now in Medium how we might have avoided two world wars and the incidence of nuclear weapons, and the coming planetary disaster (The biblical end of times), if only Tesla had not been defunded by JP Morgan, who did not have the mental capacity to understand what Tesla was aiming to do, by creating a power system for all of humanity to be solar powered, with internet like connectivity.

Tesla was stopped from doing that, by one man intent only on perpetuating his own greed, and whose legacy now is perpetuated by a few others exercising extreme capital (And colonial) wealth, including arguably one Elon Musk, with a company named after the great man, pretending to fix the environmental problems but in fact perpetuating them, just another fossil fueled bullshit industry built on, and perpetuating the capital distortion, blinding us from the actual power of all of life destroying the planet... how ironic.
