When I look at Cop29 I can't help seeing it as the epitomy of virtue signalling.

It's deliberately designed to attract our attention, look at the visual displays of it, it's all like a kind of extravagent advertisement, selling their activity which is actually a really expensive bullshit business in terms of energy and ultimately planetary impact manifesting as temperature rise.
