Indeed, it's heading for nuclear, a few well respected tacticians have been saying this since before Ukraine, it's all an agenda to go nuclear, taking the form they feared it would.
Very worrying, not just for us in Europe but also in the US, and actually all over the world, a nuclear war now would end the planet, I don't think anyone taking notice of the environment doubts that.
So the inhumanity being done will result not just in reciprocal inhumanity at some tone in the future, but by nature, on all of us, for letting it happen.
These are the end times, I think it should be realised, but that it isn't an inevitability, as some religions might define it to be, an event where everyone dies but only those of the "Right faith" go to heaven, because they thought if who they killed as just vermin, but actually the world as it was, deteriorating rapidly due to environmental damage, recovering by us making the right decision, to stop the carnage whilst we still can.
I agree with you completely this is a test for us, it might even be seen that our entire existence to date was always part of this test, now the exam paper is on the table, and we seem to be failing it badly.
Let's hope the growing tide of voices makes all the difference needed.
In the end, we can't blame one side or another, we have to align all interests, all religions, all divisions.
I think this would happen on issue of solar indexed stimulus, which would instantly move us from deoending on mathematically negative energy, which really does trace directly to every problem of inhumanity we've seen and can imagine.
Notice this would even align science with religion in a general sense, we see there a scientific definition of good and evil.
Evil is everything that happens powered by mathematically negative energy (subtracted from Earth, the energy from beneath our feet) whilst good is everything that has to happen on mathematically positive energy (Energy added to Earth- there is only one, from the sun, it comes from above).
I hope we are in process of coming to understand this, before too late. Money has to be issued on it to all people, solar stimulus, representing the new energy coming in, creating real economic product, actually the first time in history.
Its a lot of money, removing the need of people to go to war, or support the atrocities of war, just to keep some insane governments happy.
