Indeed, its a pretty lame argument, because water isn't even consumed, its simply circulated with a little heat added, and even then, the heat added can never be more than the energy that was taken from sunlight to power it (I explain why it's solar powered in the Bitcoin Kardashev Hinge story - it lives in the population of ex Ethereum pow servers). So the net effect of it is to do stuff with the energy of the sun, other than just let the energy go to heating the planet, and we can relate it's actual effect on temperature by the relation that it reduces local temperature at the rate of 0.69 x Boltzman's constant in degrees C or K per binary bit defined. (Lab proven result), so it has actually the opposite effect on temperature than its skeptics claim. They actually don't know the difference between creation and destruction, yet they claim to be experts... in what? ;-)
