Indeed, glad someone is writing about this, it was a quagmire we should have learned a very basic message from; profit is no way to survival. We were lucky the virus mutated away from maximum fatality rather than towards it, things could have been much worse though we are still suffering the after effects.
The big question we should be asking now is how to end the legacy of all things for profit, since now we can also see profit is the sole driver and instrument tying us into energy by extraction, it actually is no longer required after we start to issue monies owed to the public for the Joules of energy already put to use from sunlight, by the public.
Until then, we will continue to see the value of money eroding, because it is increasingly coming to represent nothing, with all the pain that comes with that, it seems to me.
