Indeed, even worse is the rumoured weird vision of a return of a messiah, armed and covered with blood, who will lead the physical slaughter of all the "baddies".
If there was, or could be such a return of any kind of savior, we should look for the one that actually is releasing us from planet-destroying monetised energy slavery, which we are for sure locked into, every one of us, no matter how rich or poor, as stands, until the loop is broken.
That loop gets broken the instant someone with the power to do so, starts to issue the solar indexed stimulus necessary to monetise economic product created to date by domestic and community solar energy.
I might be mistaken but this appears to be in line with the preachings of Jesus.
