Indeed China took Hong Kong reasonably peacefully, and hopefully that is an indicator of how they wish to continue. Unfortunately, it wasn't the case with Russia, after they took Crimea peacefully. That might have had something to do with a change in tactic by the US, to deliberately provoke a war. The change of tactic obviously worked with Russia. The question is, will it now also work against China?
