Indeed, but notice, if it was all solar powered, and the humans and maybe even plants in air-conned greehouses, were all solar powered, the worst that could happen by powering the aircon, is it saves the lives of the humans tending to the plants, which also get to survive the heat, and all this is doing things with the sunlight other than letting it go to heating the planet.
There are two sides always to energy use, it can be creative, reducing heat, or it can be destructive, increasing heat.
Because we never yet monetised solar, we don't really know anything but the destructive scenario, and this is by itself a kind of self fulfilling prophecy, that we will destroy the planet.
When all along, all we needed to do was monetise the energy of sunlight, so as to reward all use of it, rather than rewarding all destruction.
