Indeed Angola the US prison came to my mind too, credit to you for mentioning it, in response to Araci's mention of Angola, but in Europe we know all the history, the idea of naming a prison by it, given that like the real Angola, it actually was intended for, and really does contain almost exclusively black people, is unthinkable to us. As long as the Angola prison exists, the US can't claim to be anywhere near leaving racism behind.
Interestingly also Artemis is claiming some related credit as the first lunar program to include black people, but for the reasons outlined in my own response, I don't believe it is going to happen, and I fear lives could be lost, as we see so often now in programs designed only to make profit, human life always comes second. I really hope to be wrong about that concerning Artemis, for the sake of all flying on it.
