In essence, I am with Jack and Ian in their responses on this, Avi.
Essentially, we are not complying with nature, by not accepting the physical energy being offered to us by nature, insisting instead on living by consuming the "Fat of Earth" (The physical Joules put to use on Earth by nature).
This will finish us much quicker than profit driven science realises or will acknowledge, even yours, evidently.
We might see some similarities between us as a species, and a single human baby, about to be born, or being removed from nippple.
We still haven't learned how to breathe from the environment, after umbilical is cut, or how to stop sucking and accept the food offered to us on a plate.
We are still entirely dependent on Earth for our energy, long after we should have moved to the energy of Earth's environment, the sun.
I've explained how to do that technically, using my thirty years experience and expertise as a long practiced systems Engineer with many accomplishments in energy.
It needs someone high profile like you to get behind this, to push it home to the conventional scientific, and if we are honest, government and defence communities, before it is too late.
Like I said to you before, if you really want to be remembered forever, you would do well to be the person of influence, who got behind state of the art solar hydrogen, and pushed it hard, into the mainstream view, the entire non profit truth of it, that it will end technical capitalism, moving us to something new, technical Energyism, by having every token of money issued finally aligned with a number of Joules of live physical energy from the only source of it, the sun, that we are already starting to put to use but not yet monetising, by money issued for free honestly representing the solar product created.
That means issuing what I call Kardashev Money, for want of a better term.
Recognising this, is recognising a new specialist field of Systems Engineering, that I call Kardashev Engineering, again for want of a better term.
By doing it, we will be responding to nature in the same way as a plant does, after it starts to form leaves, it starts to issue nutrients, which have to go to ground, after its leaves begin to accept the Joules of energy from sunlight.
Money is our human equivalent of nutrients.
Firstly, wielded for profit, it was used to haul energy up from Earth, to get us to the point we formed leaves in the form of solar farms all over Earth.
Now it needs to change, to transport the product of the Joules received, to all needing it.
To do that, it needs to be issued, to authentically enumerate those Joules received.
For that, it has to be issued for free to all people.
The amounts that have to be issued are equivalent to the business already lost by utilities energy companies, to domestic and community solar.
That money issued, will naturally be put towards finishing the job of going solar, backing it all up with generation of hydrogen, capable of fueling all transportation, with no pollution in any part of the new energy ecology, thus maximising the future solar stipend for all.
From all of my work, studying this problem voluntary since seeing it coming around six years ago, a single rule of nature becomes distinct, and apparent:
"Energy is the currency of nature. The sun is the only issuer and enforcer of it. We either use it, or burn".
This simple rule clarifies exactly what we are doing wrong, what nature is punishing us for, and how, and even the consequences of it, by continuing to ignore or deny it.
