if you mean deducing the wrong impression from the article then I could arguably be guilty as charged. But "Projecting" would mean I am accusing the author of something I am guilty of myself. I have no reservations at all about Tik Tok, or any other social media, other than they are all profit driven, whereas I think they should be solar powered, this would make a world of difference to them, as I have written many times in my own stories in Medium.

A rule of thumb I try to stick with, when it comes to whether or not a media should be switched off, cancelled, or filtered in any way is Metcalfe's law, which says the value of any network to humanity is proportional to the number of users squared.

In other words, the more users it has, the better for the world in general. If it was up to me, I would make this a general international human rights law :)

It follows that the same thing applies to media from other countries, forcibly removing them from our attention just limits information we might otherwise use to make sensible decisions.

Bottom line is I don't believe any form of censorship is good, and articles like the one we were talking about are the usual path leading to censorship / cancellation, as is happening, with Tik Tok.

That isn't benefiting kids, and they know it, imho, they will soon show their resentment, sooner or later, one way or another it seems to me.
