If we accept that hereditary memory exists, then we are saying some element of our experience lives on in our descendents. That would mean the lessons we learn in life have some influence over what our descendents do. If that is the case, then a possible outcome of us successfully hacking our reality is our own ceasing to exist. Not necessarily a bad thing, just something more to think about…
