I wouldn't worry too much Ray, Robert T's comment here sums things up as well as anyone. (I'd recommend following him btw, if you are not already).
I don't see this coming to anything more than the first commercial quantum computers.
Basically they still don't work.
But it is a lot of money from mathematically negative energy wasted, that could otherwise go to monetising mathematically positive energy.
