I would be careful of reading too much into any particular part of any bible literally, which, might have been always meant to make most sense to us in our current evolved form, more as something abstract, symbolic, now at what appears to be the end of days, rather than the early, literal form we probably had back when it was written, we should try to see what was meant by not just the Christian religion and bible, but all religions with any artifacts or memories at all, we should try to recognise the purpose of all religions was maybe to try to assure whatever weaknesses existed in our species, that might be specific to our cultures and maybe even genes, does not end with extinction of the entire human species, maybe even all life on the planet.
The physical armageddon we are already facing is something of our own making, which, if we understand energy, the full mathematical physical principle of it, we can see much clearer how religions fit in systemically, and that actually it's a lack of understanding how physical energy works, which brings us to the gates of a real hell on Earth, energy is the physical law of nature that we are ignoring by our use of money as both capital and energy in a way which is really dishonest, if we look closely, it's an energy con we've carried out on the planet, necessarily for our survival before the advent of solar energy, but now we have the technology to make the change needed, as long as we resist issuing money to all for free, to reflect Joules of energy donated to us for free by the sun, yet still put to use economically, we are denying the real power of energy received for free, the energy of all life, the planet will continue to heat, all money will continue to devalue, and all the bad stuff will just keep getting worse, because we are discharging the battery of Earth as surely as any battery, the temperature indicates the level of life / energy already lost, more fighting just means more discharging of the battery, and more temperature rise.
Hence why I would just love to see understanding of this, which should be enough to make anybody realise there is truly nothing to be gained by further fighting amongst us, but everything to lose, not just by some of us, but all of us.
The only protests worth doing imho, are the passive ones for peace, and actually issue of solar indexed free money owed to all people to reflect solar energy already put to use, this would be us starting to get honest as a species, as nature requires us to be, honest with energy.
