I would agree with you also on timescales, if it wasn't also apparent to me that nature is forcing our hand, by devaluing money issued as debt, whilst solar product which is donated from an external donor, so not representable by money-as-debt, piles up, hence "m.a.d." is devaluing, rapidly, manifesting in what we call inflation.
How long will we last there, is the question, it seems to me. Probably less than a year at current rates, so they need to act soon, to minimise further unnecessary pain, I think.
