The answer to your question, it seems to me is we do lie, we have to, all of us, no exceptions, because if we don't use at least the lies based on the fundamental energy lie of profit (Energy robbed from the planet), then we die, more or less.
Its a system of energy slavery. We work for an emergent property, a learned behaviour.
