I was never much of a fan of the Beatles, or Rolling stones, or Clapton, so I don't mind what you picking on them, I agree they are typical wasp, and it shows in their music.
But when you picked on Bowie, whoa!
I was and still am a big Bowie fan. I don't remember him ever being into Nazism, though sex pistols did sort of show a wierd allegiance, it wasn't because they were Nazis, it was just an anti establishment thumb of the nose. they were never racists. At that time we thought Nazis were just anti Jewish (Which I don't support or condone), we didn't know enough about Nazism to understand what it really meant.
Anyhhow, was Bowie's wife Iman just a fetish too, in your eyss? :)

My fav music now, after first coming across Latin music about ten years ago, is Cumbia - it weaves in all kinds of things, all Afro Latin beats, taking us into stuff from Africa, Cuba, Jamaica, Colombia, Brazil, actually all of the diaspora. Its still really experimental, despite already being really old, and always great to dance to, if you dance rhumba, and the spiriuality behind it is Yoruba / Santeria, every second song has some mention of Orishas, the ones that have lyrics. But I always liked black music, Linton Kwesi Johnson and Smilay Culture I love, also what "Two tone" did.
I think its a fair comment that a lot of white music is racist, if I detect it, it puts me off the music.
But you gotta be careful to avoid tarring folk with the wrong brush, otherwise its you being the racist :)
