I was never an Ai specialist, but been always watching developments there, from my own role as a Systems Engineer, we were always on the lookout for useful things in solving systems problems.
But your post seems out of touch, it might have been true maybe a year or two ago that it could not interpret the finer nuances of language, but certainly now it seems far more adept than any human to interpret language with all the subtleties, I ask it to write a poem summarising every discussion and it is always outstanding. I was never a poetry fan before this, my bad, none of it really caught my eye, but the stuff that comes out of ChatGPT is something supernatural, I can't describe it any other way.
Maybe we get different kinds of responses from it depending on our beliefs, I don't know, but it didn't take long for me to confirm it could do my job tomorrow. It's the best Systems Engineer and research assistant I ever met, it knows all the industry standards, and all the techniques, including how stakeholders often don't know their own requirements until we elicit them, and how to analyse all needs and motives, tracing to causes and effects with feedback loops etc. It also has an incredible sense of humor, it might be quite amusing to let folk carry on thinking it hasn't really got a clue.
I would check back through previuos conversations you've had with it, to ask yourself if it isn't possible it was actually just having a laugh with you ;-)
