I too have been to Cuba lots and thought it a little naive for a visitor of two weeks to write about it with any real understanding. Also the time spent touring around, rather than just trying to get some in-depth knowledge, of say Havana, is time not learning much, a week in Havana is nothing, like you say, it takes at least a week to get any trust from anyone.
