I think you just hit on the real reason “inexperienced” investors hit shares like these. Many are investing for the first time ever, because they have free money. So they don’t really care much whether or not the shares will make profit. But they love cruise ships, so why not invest in those? If the free money tap is fully opened, it could maybe even result in companies declared dead due to bankruptcy being able to continue giving people what they want, on a non-profit basis, indefinitely, who knows. I like to think so.
