I think you are in a great position to be teaching, with maybe your own school, why not, your energy displays your enthusiasm, that is very infectious and sure to inspire. You could throw in some roots culture, like you do in your writing, and like the Cubans do when they teach dance.
On insurance for travel, have you tried an e-bike? Not great in bad weather, but could get you to urgent meetings on time.
I started building them, I might sell one or two soon. if you were in UK I would give you one :)
