I think we are getting close to acknowledging it isn't people that currently run the world but banks, and something like an open source Ai could automate it all tomorrow, whilst making money something not weaponisable, issuing it in response to solar product created, all of which lowers the planetary temperature, including the food you mention we are capable of supplying in abundance, not just in the US but anywhere.
