I think maybe you might be underestimating the capabilities of "EW" (Electronic warfare)

Commercial drones, which they all are, at the end of the day, would be easy meat for a high powered directional EW system. It could be very simply constructed from just a conventional high powered radar, for example, just stop the antenna turning, ramp up the microwave power at the feed, and aim it at the swarm, sweeping it around a little.

I guarantee you there is not much flying electronics would withstand that at close range, definitely not the electronics of commercial drones.

Could be a pretty cool further black-hole sink of weapons expenditure though I guess, as that seems to be something useful at the moment, we are seeing those used a lot, I think.
