I thank you for being a great example of a truly honest scientist Avi, thanks for this very cool story. I really wish Mr Hawking could still be amongst us, because I am sure if he was still around, he would demonstrate how to move with new evidence. As it is, his achievements seem carved in stone, timeless, nothing that happens seems enough to say those things need at least to be modified.

I've heard it argued that we need to have finite, mortal lifespans, in order that our knowledge can evolve, moving on from the assertions made and defended by each historical figure.

But this isn't true at all, it seems to me, that those who knew most about the subjects disputed, are the ones most able to move it on, no-one else dares pick it up to try to change it, if it needs changing, it becomes something sacred that must not be disputed, if you know what I mean.

Anyhow, maybe the Ai Hawking could be the key, I love that thought, its a cracker in my book, thanks for coming up with it :)
