You are invested in what you say, evidenced by your referencing of your books, and your prominent copyright claims. That is a typically capitalist approach, so I guess the last idea you might entertain is that capitalism, the treatment of all things as capital, is actually to blame for the energy mess we are in.

Most human industry is Bullshit industry, employing hordes in "bullshit jobs" (RE David Graeber), which consumes massive unnecessary fossil fuel sourced energy.

Think if there was no need to commit crime to have money, then there would be no crime, and no need to have police, lawyers, or even much of a government.

If government had limitless access to funds then there is no need to collect taxes, or have any of the legal entities we know as corporations.

We can have endless free hydrogen fuel from sunlight using standard technology, which generates no pollution, if all solar powered.

Make that fix, and everything changes.

There is no shortage of resources, so no need to have any kind of "Cull", which is where your argument leads, and fixes nothing, except maybe enriching you personally for a while, if your material sells well.
