I stopped here, as this sentence indicates, despite you obviously being much better informed than average amongst energy "Experts", you still don't seem to get the difference between energy which when used, reduces global entropy / temperature, and which use of energy increases it.

In other words, the difference between destruction and creation.

The primary energy you mention mixes up energy which is added to the planet, with energy subtracted from the planet, whereas I would say its more useful to discriminate between those two by mathematically signing them, so as to indicate which is which, and to do some useful simple models of temperature change from first principles.

Take all the energy lost in refinement, add to all the energy lost in extraction, and add to the energy deposited after it is used at point of delivery, ie, the energy in profit (Convert the energy in money to kWhrs at market rates historically applicable).

Apply the result to the thermal mass of the planet, and you have to get the measured temperature rise, per Landauer's principle. Another conclusion we should draw from Landauer's principle, is how wrong we are. Rising temperature has to indicate loss of information, lies told, etc, its a kind of general error indication. A burning planet indicates an awful lot of destruction of information.

So it isn't dependent on greenhouse gases, its dependent upon the dishonest energy lie of profit, from first principles.
