I see it, so not all lost… but welcome to the echo chamber. I’ve felt similar since shortly after starting to use Medium around 2017.

It isn’t ideal, but so far there is no sign of a better (non profit) platform, it seems to me.

There might be some merit to arguing Medium should go non profit, but I have a feeling the walls would close in if we tried to push it too hard.
