I see elements of "Right" in both Jack's and your arguments. Putting together all of those rights gets us closer to the solutions. I don't think Jack is under any illusion that there is no sea rise, just that it might be overestimated by some sources. For sure a lot of folk are profiting from scaremongering, and Ai is a very useful tool, as long as it is not used just to try to create more profit. It isn't constructive to dismiss technology as no part of the solution, science itself is integral to technology, we can't detach the two. Most scientists know how to apply Ai nowadays.

For sure they will be using it. Instead of looking for the differences betwen us / our arguments, and working on those, we need to look for common ground, and unite on that instead, it seems to me.
