I read a book in my late teens called “Better eyesight without glasses”, and have practiced the principles of it ever since, avoiding glasses, yet whilst reading and studying all of my adult life.

This article, showing how much has been studied and documented about the eyes for a very long history, makes it seem all the more puzzling, that the industry of corrective glasses has been allowed to continue using what is known about the eyes to sell more glasses, rather than less, resulting in subsequent wholesale unnecessary long term damage to the eyes of those becoming dependent on glasses.

Thanks for posting!
