I loved the way you characterised and distinguished the public as something distinct and different from the scientific community, whilst seemingly writing an article that sounds like an attack on another within your so-called community, appealling to the public for support.

Jealousy, is an entirely profit driven emotion, it seems to me.

What makes people in the scientific community so different from the public, when we see the exact same kind of politics at work, as we see in any profit driven workplace or government that isn’t doing so well in the eyes of the public, namely, that you would shoot down a colleague, if it might further your own career, regardless of the loss to humanity, resulting from derailing what could be one of the most valuable scientific discoveries of all time?

By your own admission, there is no evidence to the contrary.

Occam’s Razor seems far more damaging than beneficial to “Science”, it seems to me, as it takes no account of the gravity of consequences, the long term value to the collective of a potential outcome, it seems an entirely profit driven instrument, favouring short term gain for a few, at the expense of long term gain for the many.

Bring on the end of all power of profit, because after that, we will really start to see some much higher value things brought to humanity, I believe.

Hence I write mostly about how that will be achieved, supported by scientific evidence, as it arises.

Anyone interested can see more in my profile.
